On Foot (Your Main Mode)
From Via Solferino, the Duomo is about 15 minutes, the Castello 12, and Corso Como 8. Brera itself is best explored slowly on foot. For most guests, walking is the fastest and most enjoyable way to reach the centre.
The Metro (M2 & M5)
Moscova (M2 green line) is 300 m from the B&B and takes you to the Duomo area, Central Station and beyond. Porta Garibaldi (M2 + M5 lilac line), 700 m away, adds fast links north and to the Malpensa Express. Buy tickets at machines or use the ATM app and contactless at the gates.
Trams & Buses
Milan's vintage orange trams are part of the city's charm and useful for the areas the metro skips – the Navigli, the Cimitero Monumentale, San Siro. The same ATM ticket covers metro, tram and bus within the city.
Taxis, Bikes & Scooters
Official white taxis wait at ranks or are booked by app; there is a night surcharge. Bike-share and e-scooters are everywhere for short hops, though the historic centre is so walkable you rarely need them.
