When the sun goes down, the smartest nightlife in Milan is a short walk north of our door. This three-stop route runs from the cocktail bars of Corso Como, up into the glowing skyscrapers of Porta Nuova, and on to the late clubs where the city dances until dawn – all beginning at our B&B in Brera. Stop 1 – Cocktails on Corso Como
Eight minutes from the door, this pedestrian street is where the Milanese evening turns from aperitivo to night. Start with a negroze or an expertly built cocktail in one of its courtyards – the crowd is stylish, the people-watching is half the fun.
Stop 2 – The Lights of Porta Nuova
Five minutes on, climb the steps into Piazza Gae Aulenti, ringed by illuminated towers and fountains, with the Bosco Verticale glowing nearby. It is Milan at its most modern and photogenic – a striking contrast to the old streets of Brera you started from.
Stop 3 – Dancing Until Dawn
Finish back around Corso Como, where the historic clubs open late and the DJ sets run until the early hours. This has been Milan's clubbing heartland for decades; dress well and the night is yours.
